The options include treats that meet dietary restrictions, and toys that suit all types of pets- super chewers, destroyers, de-stuffers! Often, there is a toy within a toy to celebrate our dog's core emotion of "seeking", which is the motivation behind those destroyers and de-stuffers! Pure Ayre is a deodorizing agent that is safe to use on most surfaces and can be used directly ON your pet to eradicate any stinky situations.  I have used it for skunk sprays to pets, vehicles, and fabrics (like blankets used to cover cat traps that a skunk wandered into!) and it works!  I have used it for pet accidents in homes, and have found it invaluable for house training all manner of dogs and situations. I have used it with sick pets, who vomited or soiled themselves, to clean them (and whatever they were laying on when it occurred) so they are not suffering in the mess until they can be bathed. It does not work after it has been exposed to freezing temperatures or very high temperatures so I order in bulk during certain times of the year to ensure I have it on hand and it is not exposed to extreme temperatures during shipping. It also works for mold and mildew, cigarette odors, and other smelly situations or  stains.

Wyndmere Naturals, Inc. has a blend that works on animals better than any other I have found, for situations where an animal feels overwhelmed or anxious. Their "Anxiety Release" blend works wonders! Wyndmere is a woman owned small business. They are family oriented, and their core values are well worth supporting! While this link takes you to the Blue-9 Balance Harness, which is amazing, and one of the best harnesses on the market for range of motion and safety, there are many other products that are helpful to dog training here! Platforms are very handy for conditioning and training, and these are durable, stack, and can be used in so many ways!
I love the 2 Hounds Design Freedom No Pull Harness for keeping a high flight risk dog safe. It is very hard for a dog to pull out of this harness. There are some techniques to using this harness, but when they are employed, it is also a good training tool for heavy duty pullers. I love the multi-function Euro Leash! SO many functions are possible with this and a Mendota 15' Snap Leash! And, while you are at it, get one for a shelter dog, and donate to your local shelter. It will help them get out more, and learn good leash manner, and that helps them find homes!

I love the martingale collars, especially for high flight risk, fearful dogs who can slip out of their collar or harness when confronted with fearful triggers. Most martingale collars are slip on or have a cheap plastic clasp type fixture, which can fail. If the dog gets caught in the martingale loop, the buckle feature prevents the need to cut the collar off. Martingale collars are a training tool, and should never be left on dogs who are unattended.

The Jean Donaldson Academy for Dog Trainers was founded by Jean in 1999. She is recognized worldwide for her training, teaching and handling. Jean has authored books that are staples in any trainer's library and has educated many of today's top trainers nationwide. The Academy blog has contributions from many sources and covers many popular and controversial topics in the dog world today! Well worth following if you are interested in deepening your relationship with your dog and becoming more educated!
